Jiří Volf: a homeless poe
Main Article Content
Abstract
On the theme of “Forgotten Francophonies”, I present a translation project of a Czech poet writing in French. The text sheds light on the circumstances surrounding this poet and at the same time, it questions the way in which a poet’s biography can be written. Through the figure of 'Afterness', the text explores issues linked to contemporary research on exile.
